Joint West Coast/Sierra Legal Submission to Ministry of Energy and Mines for the Oil and Gas Regulatory Improvement Initiative

West Coast Environmental Law and the Sierra Legal Defence Fund have now had an opportunity to review the Oil and Gas Regulatory Improvement Initiative (OGRII) Discussion Paper, dated December 1, 2005. This Submission to the Ministry of Energy and Mines is divided into two sections - general comments about the tone and direction of the initiative, and specific responses to the policy proposals.
