Vancouver-based West Coast Environmental Law is pleased to announce that we are looking for a .8 time (28 hours/week) Program Manager. The Access to Justice Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration and operation of West Coast’s Access to Justice program.
Volunteers play a vital role in sharing West Coast's work in the community. Volunteers are involved in research, event organization and outreach, fundraising, and managing our records and information. There is an immediate opening for a 0.7 time (25 hours/week) staff position at the Vancouver office of West Coast Environmental Law. West Coast harnesses the power of law to solve complex environmental challenges, transforming environmental decision-making and strengthening legal protection for the environment through collaborative legal strategies that bridge Indigenous and Canadian law. Remote work is in effect while COVID-19 restrictions apply.

The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society – British Columbia (CPAWS-BC) and West Coast Environmental Law (WCEL) are seeking a Marine Protected Area (MPA) Network Outreach and Project Coordinator to support active engagement of conservation groups and communities in the MPA network planning process currently happening on BC’s northern coast with a focus on public consultation expected to occur this fall/winter.
